We will return any messages as soon as possible during normal hours. If it is afterhours and you feel the emergency cannot wait until morning please see the chart below:
Emergencies are life-threatening changes that needs to be seen within 24 hours or sooner. Examples: Broken bones, excessive bleeding, colic, hit by car, suddenly down animal, birthing issues, unable to urinate, eye injuries.
Urgent cases should be scheduleda at the next open appointment. Examples are itchy animals, bumps and bruises, diarrhea (excluding non-vaccinated puppies), urinary issues, ear issues.
Routine Care (things that can wait) are vaccinations, wellnes checks, Coggins Tests & Helath Certificiates.
This list is not comprehensive and any of these exmaples can be switched to urgent or emergency based on individual situations. Please speak with a professional to help you triage. A veterinary professional can inform you if the patient can wait for a day-time emergency appointment or if it needs to be seen immediately.
